Richard Harwood

Financial Advisor

I have 30+ years of experience developing personalized strategies for my clients, with a focus on the development of portfolio protection strategies as well as estate and retirement funding strategies for families and small businesses. In addition, I also concentrate in the area of Special Needs Planning. This planning is unique and requires extensive training and knowledge outside the general planning process. Through my advocacy, I help provide financial security for special needs families, both now and in the future.

I am a Board Member & Director for the Arc of Northern Bristol County, Attleboro; a recipient of the 2007 Person of the Year from the Attleboro Area Chamber of Commerce, a recipient of The Arc of Massachusetts Distinguished Citizen’s Award in 1998; a national speaker on the subject of estate and financial strategies for families with special needs individuals; and a Rotary International member and recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow recognition award. I am also a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

I am a proud graduate from Bridgewater State College with a degree in Health and Physical Education and a minor in Adaptive Physical Education. I enjoy coaching high school football, golf and fishing. I am married and have two sons, whom are both graduates of Bryant University.
